Chasely (“we”, “our”, “us”) operates the Chasely platform at chasely.co. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

1. Information we collect

Account information. When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and business name. This is used to identify your account and personalise your experience.

Client information. When you add clients inside Chasely, we store their name and email address on your behalf. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to store this information. In this context, you act as the data controller and Chasely acts as a data processor.

Uploaded files. Documents your clients upload through Chasely are stored securely in cloud storage. Files are associated with your account and accessible only by you and intended recipients. We do not access or review uploaded files except as necessary to provide the service or comply with legal obligations.

Usage data. We may collect basic usage information such as pages visited, actions taken, and browser type to improve the product. This data is not sold.

Billing information. Payment processing is handled entirely by Dodo Payments. We do not store your credit card details. We receive confirmation of subscription status via secure webhooks.

2. How we use your information

We do not sell your data or your clients’ data to any third party.

3. Email communications

Chasely sends emails on your behalf to your clients (document request emails, reminder emails). These emails are sent using Resend and originate from your configured sender address.

You are responsible for ensuring you have consent to contact your recipients.

We do not guarantee email delivery, as messages may be delayed, filtered, or blocked by external systems beyond our control.

Your clients may contact you directly to opt out of further communications.

We may also send you account-related emails such as password resets and upload notifications. These are transactional and cannot be opted out of while you maintain an account.

4. Third-party services

5. File storage and security

Files uploaded by your clients are stored in a private cloud storage environment.

While we implement industry-standard security measures, no system is completely secure.
